Occupational Therapy Evaluation

$750.00

The evaluation process at Bloom begins with a parent interview to gather background information, identify areas of strength, and discuss any concerns, supplemented by parent questionnaires. We also conduct a records review, including previous evaluations, interventions, and work samples. Next, we complete standardized assessments appropriate for the child’s age, administered directly with the child, along with skilled clinical observations of sensory integration, neuromuscular status, and sensory processing during playful activities. When applicable, we gather additional information through teacher or school administrator interviews and questionnaires. All findings are synthesized into a written report, including recommendations, suggested goals, and a proposed plan. Finally, we review the results and collaborate on next steps during a 45-minute parent meeting at Bloom or via Zoom, and, if relevant, a 45-minute school or team meeting at the school or via Zoom to ensure coordinated support for the child.
