PEERS® for Preschoolers
We are proud to offer PEERS® for Preschoolers, a 16-week social skills program for children ages 4–6. This is a parent participation required group, designed to give families the tools and strategies to support social development both in session and at home.
This playful and interactive program helps children practice the skills needed to join play, share, take turns, and communicate effectively with peers. Through guided activities, role play, and structured play opportunities, children learn how to navigate social interactions with confidence.
Parents are active participants, learning strategies they can use outside of the group to encourage social growth and carry over new skills. With coaching and support from our team, parents and children work together to strengthen friendships and social success.
Led by experienced pediatric occupational therapy professionals, PEERS® for Preschoolers at Bloom provides a supportive, nurturing environment where kids can practice and grow while families gain confidence in supporting their child’s social journey.
This program is a wonderful fit for children who are eager to make friends but may need help with joining or sustaining play, as well as families who want an evidence-based, structured approach to building social-emotional skills.
At Bloom, we believe every child deserves the chance to build friendships and feel confident in social settings. PEERS® for Preschoolers provides the foundation to help them get there.
