Adriane is a highly skilled and experienced occupational therapist who is the founder, owner, and director at Bloom Pediatrics. She possesses a wealth of knowledge and expertise in working with children aged birth through 12 years old. Her speciality areas include autism spectrum disorders, executive functioning, feeding challenges, gifted and twice-exceptional children, gross motor skills, and coordination, handwriting and fine motor skills, sensory processing disorders, self-regulation, and social skills support. Adriane has a deep passion for her work and is dedicated to helping children achieve their fullest potential. With her extensive experience and expertise, she is committed to providing exceptional care and support to families and their children at Bloom Pediatrics. Adriane is an exceptional occupational therapist who possesses advanced training in Sensory Integration Theory and Practice, enabling her to comprehensively evaluate and treat children with sensory processing disorders. Additionally, her Advanced Practice Certification in Swallowing Assessment, Evaluation, and Intervention (SWC) provides her with the expertise to accurately diagnose and treat feeding and swallowing difficulties in children. Her extensive training further extends to DIR/Floortime and SENG-Model Parent Groups, which help her connect with children and their caregivers, promoting engagement and therapeutic alliance. Adriane's certification as a Certified Infant Massage Instructor adds to her arsenal of skills and knowledge, allowing her to aid in the development of the parent-child relationship. Lastly, to provide comprehensive support to the families she works with, Adriane has received Special Education Advocate Training through the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates. Adriane is a champion for gifted and twice-exceptional (2e) children, and her passion for advocacy shines through in every aspect of her work. With a Clinical Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Boston University, Adriane has focused her career on developing programming and support systems specifically designed to empower young people who possess extraordinary abilities. Her dedication is affirmed by the many accolades she has received, including the 2018 SMPG Facilitator of the Year award. Additionally, she co-founded the Westside of Los Angeles Gifted Group, a community of like-minded families who come together in person and online to share their experiences and offer mutual support.
